System requirements for programming can differ depending on what you are programming, If you’re doing a job or you are just a computer science engineering students who are learning to program such as C++, Q Basic, HTML, Java, PHP, Python or any other web designing languages, then you don’t need a very high-end system. Here is the requirement for web designing and software designing purposes.

  • Quad Core 2.0Hz Processor
  • 4GB+ RAM
  • 256GB SSD or 1TB HDD(Prefer SSD)
  • 720p Resolution display (prefer 15.6 screens for bigger working space)
  • Good Keyword

Pro Tips- If your budget is below 35000 you can get a laptop with these specifications in the market, laptop with these specifications can run the syllabus that we generally see in BCA courses in India so if you are a student then this can be very good for you.

However, if you are planning to do more heavy tasks such as using an emulator, virtual machine, or game designing and development or doing a course that also has AutoCAD in the syllabus then you will need a better machine than these.

I did freelancing with my old Intel Core I3 laptop which has only 2 Core and the clock speed is just 1.8 GHz and I was very easily able to design a different websites in HTML and JavaScript, even somewhere we had to design basic graphics for the website that can be also done in this specification. Without any delay let’s start

UHD graphics card and FHD display can be a good option if you will also do little graphics designing work. however, this laptop is not sufficient for gaming purposes.

The Aspire 3 laptop allows users to operate easily. IPS/VA panel makes display features better with a brightness of 250 nits. My Take on this Laptop

This model from Acer has a better CPU because of more clock speed than the HP 15s model. It has around 0.60GHz more clock speed in it, thus you’ll get better CPU performance in this laptop.

At the same time, The RAM is Less than the HP 15s model which is why I’ve kept it in second place. If you’re willing to increase the RAM size later then this laptop can become better than the HP 15s model.

Buying Guide to choose Best Laptop under 35000 for programming.

If you are a programmer or you are just a student and want to become a programmer then you definitely need a laptop, as you are searching for a laptop under 35000, so let’s understand what features and specifications you should check in a laptop for the optimum deal.

Better CPU you have faster execution of code will happen, programmer not just do coding but also watch tutorials, read the documentation or browse the internet for the solution of some problem that may encounter during programming, to do this all things faster you should at least choose Intel Core I3 or Ryzen 3 processor which has 2 Core in it.

Core i3 or a Ryzen 3 processor can also give enough processing power to do projects related to web designing, software designing, or college projects. however, you should also note that this cannot be enough for projects like 3D modeling and simulation, game designing/development or machine learning project.

If you want to work in Technologies like artificial intelligence, then while doing machine learning where you have to feed your program thousands and thousands of data to the program to train them, in this case, you need a better processor. Otherwise, you are ok to continue with Intel Core I3 or Ryzen 3 processor you can also do projects with these laptops.

After doing my research I have found that you can also get some laptops with 8GB RAM also which is an excellent thing because 8GB RAM is something that you need for better performance in programming this, will also facilitate you in running multiple software at once.

However there is some laptop that comes with only 4GB RAM then you don’t have to worry much about it because you can also extend it later, So what you have to see is the value for money you are getting on the laptop rather than just RAM size.

Even 4GB RAM is enough for programming like HTML, JavaScript, C++, python etc.

Storage is something that does not bother much to a programmer like it bother a video editor or a gamer because they have to host a large amount of file on their laptop, it also does not mean that you should not have good storage and space.

SSD storage is always preferable over HDD because it will give extra speed in the booting time of the laptop as well as the opening of the software, it also prevents a bottleneck situation and can continuously feed RAM required data faster. My suggestion also will be to choose an SSD over HDD.

Then it comes to space how much space do you need in programming, see there is no use requirement for space for the programmer because they generally host small files of code of the project. At the same time, you may also host your personal photos videos other documents so you should have enough space for that as well.

It is hard to tell what is your requirement for storage space but generally for a programmer a 256 GB SSD storage would be enough to store all the files of the program as well as personal files. In case you need extra space then you can also use external storage or you can also extend your laptop storage later.

A programmer spends most of their time staring at the display, a good display gives a better visual experience and also reduces eye fatigue. A display having a higher viewing angle and resolution will be easy to work with.

Under 35000 rupees you can get a good display with a resolution of Full HD, and some laptop also comes with IPS-type Technology, IPS display generally produce better Colour contrast and color accuracy so it is good if you get a deal under 35k with an IPS display.

The next thing that comes to our mind is the size of the display, as a programmer you may prefer a bigger working space because you will have more working area, at this price point there are two display size in the market one is the 15.6-inch screen and another is 14 inches screen.

If you prefer a larger screen over a smaller one then you can go with a 15.6-inch screen laptop or if you are a student and you have to travel daily to your colleges and looking for a laptop that can easily fit in your bag then you should choose 14 inches screen laptop.

A laptop having 7 hours of battery backup in normal use is considered to be a good battery backup, a good battery backup will give you the flexibility to work even if electricity is not available.

In our list most laptop which is notebook generally has higher battery backup than gaming laptop but it also depends on the intensity at which you are using the laptop what is a If you are using heavy software are watching a movie then definitely backup will decrease but generally, you can expect a minimum of 4 to 6 hour of battery backup.

Can I also play a game on these laptops?

No, these are not dedicated to gaming, these laptops do not have dedicated graphics cards to process the game but you can play a low graphics game.

Should I increase the laptop budget for Python programming?

If you are in college or just you want to learn Python Programming then you don’t need a dedicated laptop, you can easily start your journey from a budget laptop I have mentioned above, but in case you want to learn machine learning then you should increase your budget to be on the safer side and go with i5 at least.

Can I do freelancing with a laptop after learning to program?

After learning to program Certainly you can take projects from different platforms such as Linked In, Fiverr, Upwork, Freelancer, or any other platforms. You can do projects related to website/software designing and development these laptops without any issues.

Final Verdict

After going through whole article I hope you are able to decide which one is best for you based on your preferences but if you ask me my choice among these,

  • My first choice would be HP 15, because it has the Ryzen 3, 2 Core processor with up to 3.5GHz clock speed and 8GB RAM with SSD storage which makes it perfect for our requirement and also comes in our budget.
  • My second choice would be Acer Aspire 3, it has a good processor and 4GB ram to run all your applications, also has SSD storage which is a plus point in it if you increase the RAM of this laptop letter this can become better than HP 15.
  • Last but not the least, if you are on a very tight budget and you want a good deal then you can go with ASUS VivoBook 14.

In the end, I would be interested to know which one you have chosen, please also comment down below your choice and also if you have any questions or suggestions.
